Pricing

Sitters move into the home, set up base and will generally be home a lot more than the hours stipulated, however this is not guaranteed.
Overnight care rates are dependent on the level of required time at home for the sitter.

Chillers

$110 per 24 hours

plus GST

For one pet*
$20 per night per extra pet
Pets must be able to be left for up to 8 hours at a time, if necessary.
(toilet breaks during the day can be arranged at an extra cost)

Lovers

$165 per 24 hours

plus GST

For one pet*
$20 per night per extra pet
Pets must be able to be left for up to 5 hours at a time, if necessary.

Snugglers

$220 per 24 hours

plus GST

For one pet*
$20 per night per extra pet
Round the clock care, sitter must be able to leave for up to 1 hour at a time, if necessary

Included in all Overnight Stays: Up to 2 walks per day, feeding, litter change, pet waste management, postal collection, bins out, & plants watered

*Cats, dogs and horses will be counted individually, all other animals will be grouped by type ie chooks, mice, fish etc

FAQs

Do you take dogs in for boarding at your house?

Unfortunately, not at this stage, as all of our sitters live in homes that are not pet friendly.

My pets are used to sleeping in bed with us, can you accommodate this?

All of our sitters are more than comfortable with pets sleeping in the bed (okay, we love it!) so your furry friends can still get a good night's rest with someone close by.

Do you have experience with rare or exotic pets?

We do! We've cared for cows to lizards to jellyfish and almost everything in between! We've had hands-on care experience with most domestic, farmed and exotic animals. Drop us a line in the contact form with the details of your fancy friend and we can give you more information!

My pet needs to go to the vet. Will you take them?

Absolutely. If your pet has a vet appointment scheduled we can help with transport arrangements. If while you are away your pet needs emergency veterinary care, you will first be contacted for permission. Before commencing a job, owners are required to sign our paperwork granting permission for your nominated vet to perform emergency medical treatment in the case that we cannot get in touch with you.

My pet has severe separation anxiety. Can you work with that?

Absolutely! We are experienced with pets who suffer from separation anxiety and a range of other behavioural issues. We will do our best to make sure your pet feels comfortable at all times. However, if at any point the safety of our sitters becomes an issue due to behaviour, the pets will be placed in boarding care at the owner's expense if no other arrangements can be made.

Will you administer my pets medication?

Arrangements will need to be agreed upon between client and sitter, however in most cases administering medication is not a problem.

What's Included/How it Works

Step 1 - Submit an enquiry

Step 2 - Our team will reach out

Once your enquiry has been received, someone on our team will be in touch to confirm our availability and to schedule a phone call to discuss logistics. Please allow up to 3 business days for a response.

Step 3 - Scheduled phone call

This call will help us to gather information to get a better understanding of your needs and requirements, and is also the perfect time for you to ask any questions you may have! This is also when we will schedule your complimentary meet and greet.

Step 4 - Update your profile

We have a fantastic client profile/scheduling system! You will receive an email asking you to activate and update your profile. These profiles have sections for you to input your personal information, as well as profiles for each pet in your home. There are sections for feeding, medical and behavioural information that can be readily accessed by your sitter while caring for your pets. This is also the system we use for scheduling, and once in the system clients can easily request bookings for the future.

Step 5 - Meet and Greet

Your assigned sitter will come to your home for a complimentary 30 minute meet and greet ahead of your booking. This is a great time to make sure that you, your pets and our sitter all feel comfortable with the arrangement going ahead, and for your sitter to be shown around the home. You will also receive vet permission forms for you to sign in case of a medical emergency.

Step 6 - Time for your appointment!

Every evening of your booking, a report card is emailed to you with notes from the sitter, and pictures taken throughout the day. You will also be able to contact your sitter via mobile phone throughout their stay, and picture and video updates can be provided as much or as little as you'd like!

Step 7 - Payment

Our system sends out invoices every Sunday that will include all bookings completed in the last 7 days. Even if your booking falls over multiple invoicing periods, your invoice will still be sent each Sunday and will include any completed nights for that week. Payment can be made via bank transfer, and you are welcome to add credit to your account by paying in advance if this suits you better. Please advise us if you would like to do this and we will send through bank details.

Step 9 - Rebook

If you would like to book our services again in the future, this can be easily done through our online booking platform now that you have a profile! Regular and repeat bookings are always welcomed.
